Our pediatric-focused division helps children reach functional goals at school, at home, and at play.

At Tierney Orthotics and Prosthetics, our orthotists and prosthetists are known for their excellent patient care and solutions that help enhance our patients’ mobility. We have taken this same level of clinical expertise and compassion and applied it to our new division specifically for children.

Our experts in prosthetic and orthotic care understand that kids are NOT simply small adults. We recognize the unique needs and treatment considerations that kids require. Our team of specialists can create custom designs for children who need artificial limbs, orthopedic bracing, and/or a cranial remolding orthotic.

This new division, known as Tierney Kids, offers the following comprehensive services:

We utilize the latest advances in prosthetic and orthotic technology, so children can continue to reach functional goals at school, at home, and at play. The prosthetic and orthotic devices we create are prescribed by a physician and can aid children with amputations, cerebral palsy, limb deficiency, scoliosis, plagiocephaly, burns, and neurological disorders.

Our goal is to provide the absolute best care to our pediatric patients in a comfortable, solutions-driven setting. We work closely with physicians, clinicians, and therapists to achieve the best possible outcomes for our young patients and ultimately find a solution that helps them regain some of their mobility and functionality, so they can participate in the many joys of childhood.

Whether your child’s dream is to score a soccer goal, play an instrument, swim in a race, or simply keep up with their friends on the playground, the devices we create provide the support a child’s needs to pursue their dreams and meet their full potential.
